Croocial.ai – Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Croocial.ai, a service provided by Croocial Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.

1. Who We Are

Croocial Ltd
Registered Address: 2 Minerva Business Park, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE2 6FT
Company Registration Number: 12272988
Email: enquiries@croocial.ai

2. What cookies are and why we use them

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between visits, count how many people use it, and (for some cookies) share what you do online with other companies that help us run ads. We use cookies on www.croocial.ai for two purposes:

- Making the site work - a small number of cookies are needed to load the site and remember whether you have agreed to the rest. These run no matter what you choose.

- Improving the site and reaching the right audience - analytics tools tell us what is and isn't working; identification tools help us understand which businesses visit. These only run if you agree.

When you arrive on the site for the first time, our cookie banner asks you to choose. You can change your choice at any time using the small cookie icon in the bottom corner of the page.

3. How we group the cookies you can choose to accept

- Strictly necessary - The minimum needed to load the site and remember your cookie choice. The site cannot function without these. Always on.

- Analytics - Anonymous reports on how visitors move around the site. Decide which pages and features are useful, where people get stuck, what to improve.

- Marketing - Identifying which companies visit the site, and reaching similar businesses with ads. Sales and marketing follow-up; deciding who to advertise to.

You can accept, reject, or pick which of the optional categories you are happy with.

4. The tools we run on this site

Google Analytics 4 (category: Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages are read, and understand how visitors move through the site. The information is anonymous — we do not see your name, email, or contact details from this tool.

- Set by: Google

- Cookies we have observed: `_ga`, `_ga_*`

- Roughly how long the cookies last:Up to two years

- Their privacy notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Microsoft Clarity (category: Analytics)

Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages — what they click, how they scroll, where they hesitate. It is anonymous and Clarity automatically blocks (masks) any text typed into form fields so we never see what people have written.

- Set by: Microsoft

- Cookies we have observed: `_clck`, `_clsk`, `CLID`, `MUID`, `ANONCHK`, `MR`, `SM`

- Roughly how long the cookies last: Up to one year

- Their privacy notice: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacystatement

Snitcher (category: Marketing)

Snitcher tells us which companies are visiting our site, by matching the visitor's network details to a database of businesses. It does not tell us who you are personally — it tells us, for example, that "someone from Acme Limited visited our pricing page". We use this to decide which companies to follow up with.

- Set by: Snitcher

- Cookies set: Snitcher's own session and identifier cookies

- Roughly how long the cookies last: Up to one year

- Their privacy notice: https://www.snitcher.com/privacy-policy

5. What happens if you change your mind?

Click the small cookie icon in the bottom corner of any page on www.croocial.ai. You can update or withdraw your choices at any time. If you withdraw your agreement, the tools above will stop on the next page you load — although any data already collected with your agreement will stay in the tools' systems until it expires on its own (see the "how long the cookies last" rows above). You can also clear cookies directly in your browser. Each browser handles this slightly differently - Google has a useful guide that covers most of them at https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050.

6. Cookies set by other companies on this site

The Marketing tools listed above are set by other companies, not by us. Snitcher, in particular, may share information about your visit with its own service providers — its privacy notice (linked above) explains who they are and what they do. We do not currently use ad-retargeting or behavioural advertising tools on www.croocial.ai. If that changes we will update this page and ask you to agree again.

7. Contact us

If you have a question about how we use cookies, or want to ask us to delete data we have about your visits, email enquiries@croocial.ai. We will reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this page whenever the cookies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you the most recent change. Significant changes will also trigger the cookie banner to ask for your agreement again.
